CICU & ALMTI TO WORK FOR ELEVATION OF MACHINE TOOL INDUSTRY

Ludhiana, October 10, 2017: S.Upkar Singh Ahuja, Officiating President, CICU Ludhiana, said that Chamber has come forward to join hands with Association of Ludhiana Machine Tools Industry (ALMTI) to work together for the upliftment of the industry of Punjab.
A meeting was convened under the Chairmanship of S.Upkar Singh Ahuja, Officiating President, CICU with the members of the Association of Ludhiana Machine Tools Industry. It was decided that both organizations will make efforts for the new development of the Machines which are considered to be Mother of the Engineering Industry.
A high level committee will be setup to organise Exhibitions, Technical Seminars, Training Sessions, Gap analysis of the Machine Tool Industry and participation in National and International Exhibitions will be the Top priorities. These efforts will help the MOTO of build and shine of the Machine Tool industries in Ludhiana.
Sh. Jagtar Singh, President, Sh. Kamaljit Singh, Senior Vice President and Tarlochan Singh, Finance Secretary of Association of Ludhiana Machine Tools Industry (ALMTI) appreciated the efforts and initiative of the Chamber for helping the Machine Tool Industry of Ludhiana for its sustainable development. The members present in the meeting said that there is a need to study the success stories of the Enterprises in this industry.
The meeting was attended by S/Sh. K. Babu, Inderjit Singh Nagpal, Mandeep Singh, S.S Bedi, Mahinder Singh, Surinder Singh, Karamjit Singh, S.B Singh, and others.
