Ludhiana: Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU)and District Industries Center (DIC), Ludhiana organised 3-day Udyam Registration Camp for MSMEs.
About 100 companies were registered on first day of the camp.
Upkar Singh Ahuja, President and Pankaj Sharma, General Secretary, CICU jointly said that there are numerous MSMSs, who are not yet registered, as registration process of the same is valid up to 31st March 2021.
They also highlighted that MSMEs can get many benefits under Udyam Registration like loans without collaterals, subsidy on patent registration & industrial promotion, overdraft facility along with interest rate exemption, ISO Certification, charges reimbursement, helps in getting government tenders, becomes easy to get licenses, approvals, and registrations, subsidized fairs in national and international exhibition etc.
Shingara Singh, Senior Industrial Promotion Officer and Bhupinder Singh, Senior Industrial Promotion Officer from District Industries Center, Ludhiana helped the MSMEs to register Udyam Registration online.
