CICU and DMCH Ludhiana organised free medical check-up training program for HR Personnel of Industries

Ludhiana, August 1, 2022: Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU) Organised a Free Medical Training camp for HR personnel on 30th July at CICU Complex, Focal Point Ludhiana for medical check-up of industrial workers at their work place.
 
A team of doctor and nurses with Dr. (Prof.) R.K. Soni head of community health services from DMCH Ludhiana conducted this training. Dr. Soni enlightened the HR personnel of different companies about the importance of health check-up of the workers & staff for their better productivity.  He said that healthy workers are smarter and much capable of doing their job according to the instructions and are more alert to avoid to happen any accident on workshops. They can also look after their family and surrounding society in a better way. Healthy worker’s family have a very fewer medical expenses. Dr. Soni explained that how hypertension commonly found in maturity of the people and its damages to the heart, kidney, brain and other parts of the body. It is a major cause of heart-attack, kidney failure and brain stroke which can be avoided by following a routine blood pressure check-up. A person with higher blood pressure can easily diagnose by daily physical exercises & dieting control.
 
He further explains by presentation that how to use electronic blood pressure easily by common person. He need not to go clinic for normal and abnormal blood pressure. It was also explained that the method of testing blood sample for diabetes with the use of electronic glucometer with very easy method at their place. Continuous problem of blood pressure and diabetes is basic cause of many diseases which outcome is very costly treatment later on. However, the proper precaution taken by any person can easily avoided this complication. So, a road map is prepared to check the physical & mental condition of the workers of all companies to treat them so that they can avoid the damages from hypertension and diabetes.
 
Upkar Singh Ahuja, President, CICU mentioned that CICU and DMCH will jointly hold free medical camps in companies to screen all the workforce to identify the symptoms relating to hypertension and diabetes in the workers and staff for their treatment in future till their recovery.
 
About more than 50 Senior HR personnel from different companies attended this training camp to understand this program and implementation in near future.
 
After discussions with DMCH Team and with all HR personnel of the companies, a detailed program is prepared to organize a series of Free Medical Check-up Camps for covering all industries speedily. In these medical camps workers of the companies will be screened and cases found with different diseases will be diagnosed & treated to make them healthy and diseases free.
