Ludhiana, February 28, 2013: Avtar Singh (General Secretary) and Upkar Singh Ahuja (Joint Secretary) have condemned the Union Budget.
In a joint statement here on Thursday, they added the Union Finance Minister had done nothing for addressing the growth imperatives for the industrial sector.
They termed the budget as very disappointing as MSME Sector had been completely ignored.
They regretted that no relief had been provided to Excise Duty Exemption even on poor man’s bicycle and house-hold sewing machines and no relief to common man and tax payers.
They believed that budget was neither inclusive nor growth oriented, and remarked that “Union Budget unimaginative and dull”. They strongly believed that the budget would lead to economic collapse.
