CICU to form a High Level Committee to tackle the issue of NOC from CGWA
Ludhiana, March 30, 2019: A meeting of Executive Committee of CICU was held on Friday apart from other general issues, the issue of requirement of NOC from Central Ground Water Authority was taken up and very serious deliberations were done to resolve this issue. This issue is a burning issues for the industry at present. The Matter of ground water NOC was deliberate in detail, Opinion from various sector was taken and the house finally decided to engage an expert and Ground Water Authority and NGT and represent the CGWA once again resolve the issue as at the moment there is no clarity on the matter. CICU is already in touch with Authority to extend the date 31.03.2019 for approval of Bore Well. It was also decided to meet the concerned Ministers/officials at State Govt. level to expedite the issue of formation of State Sub Committee to resolve the issues related to NOC of Ground Water from CGWA. Mr. Upkar Singh Ahuja, President, CICU briefed the Executive Committee members about the activities conducted by CICU during last quarter and also about the upcoming activities. It was decided to give representation regarding pending VAT and GST Refunds at appropriate level. Approval was given by Executive committee to open an office of CICU in Jalandhar. Sh. J.S Bhogal, publicity Secretary, CICU presented vote of thanks. The meeting was attend by more than 60 members some by namely S/Sh. Avtar Singh Bhogal, V.P Ahuja, Lalit Jain, S.B Singh, Gurpeet Singh Kahlon, O.P Bassi, Honey Sethi, Surinder Mahindru, Jaspal Singh Sall, Rakesh Sachdeva, Gautam Malhotra, Inderpal Singh, A.K Kholi, Sarabjit Singh, Harmeet Singh Bhalla, S.S Passi, Ravinder Saini, Majit Singh Lambha, Vinod Thapar, Sudarshan Gosai, Gurdial Singh and other prominent members of the Chamber.
