Ludhiana, December 7, 2018: The Mega MACHMA Exhibition was jointly inaugurated by Bharat Bhushan Ashu, Minister for Food & Civil Supplies Punjab, Ravneet Singh Bittu, MP, Ludhiana, Sanjay Talwar, MLA, Ludhiana.
They graced the Lamp Lighting Ceremony and interacted with the Exhibitors while their speech session. They also appreciated the initiative and all out efforts to organizing Mega Exhibition at Ludhiana. They visited the various stalls exhibited in the Expo.
Bharat Bhushan Ashu-Cabinet Minister, Food & Civil Supplies Govt. of Punjab has announced of Rs. 25Lakh grant for Focal Point Industry.
The attraction of the Expo were Ismail Ayobami Alatise, Deputy High Commissioner, High Commission of Nigeria, Khaldoon Tareq Yaseen, Commercial Attaché, Embassy of the Republic of Iraq, George Crytone Mkondiwa, High Commissioner, High Commission of the Republic of Malawi and H.E. Judith Kapijimpanga, High Commissioner, High Commission of the Republic of Zambia.
Upkar Singh Ahuja, President and Pankaj Sharma, General Secretary, CICU in a joint statement said that the Expo have been participated by 250 exhibitors and on first day attracted more than 15000 visitors.
Sunder Sham Arora-Cabinet Minister- Industry & Commerce, Punjab visited MACHAM Expo and also interact with industrialists. He said that Govt. of Punjab in process of establish 24 cluster in Punjab and 7 Cluster in Ludhiana.
He further said that the One Time Settlement Scheme will be announced soon. He also confirmed the laydown the stone for construction of Exhibition Centre in Ludhiana will be by Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh very soon.
He also discussed about various issues being faced by the industry in term of infrastructure, modern facilities and assured that the problems will resolve soon.

A MOU Signed between Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings and Small Industries Development Bank of India Equipment for finance loan opportunities at very nominal interest to the Industry.
Moreover, CICU hold one to one meeting with Ambassadors of Zambia, Malawi and Iraq to discussion for new business opportunities and bilateral trade with Industrialists.
