To guide the outgoing batches of Management and Engineering students CICU and GNIMT organized a HR panel discussion on March 4 in GNIMT campus. Topic of discussion remained “Industry Expectation from a Graduate”.

Ludhiana, March 7, 2024: CICU in its Endeavour to boost the Entrepreneurship in the young minds have joined hands with Guru Nanak Institute of Management and Technology, Model Town. To guide the outgoing batches of Management and Engineering students CICU and GNIMT organized a HR panel discussion on March 4 in GNIMT campus. Topic of discussion remained “Industry Expectation from a Graduate”.
CICU President Upkar Singh Ahuja has always insisted on motivating the young students to go for new business ventures or to join their family business and contribute to Punjab’s economy. On the occasion he ensured to come up with many such programs.
Around 100 students from GNIMT and other management and engineering colleges actively participated in the session. Young students had many questions in their minds and the panel was able to satisfy all their queries. Panel guided the students on the changed role of HR from basic to the strategic one and presented the HR people to be known as Human Engineers Students were guided to complete their Master degrees and then to venture for jobs or business. All the aspects of Industry from the beginner’s level to reaching the top position were discussed among the panel.
Er. Gurvinder Singh Sarna (Gen. Secretary- Gujarkhan Campus) and Prof. (Dr.) Sandhya Mehta, Principal GNIMT welcomed the Guest Panellists in the event and shared their thoughts with the participants. Swarn Dhiman –Director for Corporate Affairs, CICU represented CICU whereas HR Panelists from CICU were Deepika Sukhija from Vardhman Spinning & General Mills, Lopamudra Pattanaik from TRB Group and Amritpal Singh Manghera from Monte Carlo Fashions Ltd. Deepak Bhalla, Dy. CEO, Employment Bureau Ludhiana was also present as a guest in the event.
