CICU holds meeting with NHAI officials for entry and exit point to Focal Point

Ludhiana, September 13, 2023: With the efforts of CICU yesterday a joint meeting has occurred regarding formal Entry and Exit Points of Focal Point Ludhiana, amongst senior members of CICU and Ashok Kumar Project Director of NHAI along with SDM Amarjeet Bains.
In this meeting, members explained to officials the problems faced by the industry of focal point due to the lack of dedicated entry and exit points and suggested possible solutions to solve this issue.
A major suggestion that came up in this discussion was to make a C-Type flyover from the Delhi side road which would enter the focal point.
For this purpose, CICU delegation and NHAI officials alongwith SDM visited G.T. road, near Dhandari bridge to overview the possibility of Entry and exit points.
Ashok Kumar (NHAI) ensured to check the feasibility of a C-type flyover to enter the focal point from the Delhi Side and widen as well as repair the existing exit point.
The dignitaries present in this meeting were Honey Sethi General Secretary-CICU, S.B. Singh, Joint Secretary-CICU, Rahul Ahuja, Steering Committee Member-CICU and Safety Expert Rahul Verma.
