A program for MSMEs situated in Gill Road, Janta Nagar, Sua Road, Gill Road and nearby areas was organised to aware of the revised schemes of SIDBI to provide Financial Assistance.

Ludhiana, June 17, 2023: A program for MSMEs situated in Gill Road, Janta Nagar, Sua Road, Gill Road and nearby areas was organized to aware of the revised schemes of SIDBI to provide Financial Assistance.

Upkar Singh Ahuja, President, CICU shared that MSMEs are going through a very tough time, and Finance is one of the reasons behind it. He said that there are lots of opportunities offered by the SIDBI (Nodal Agency of Govt. of India) to provide financial assistance to Small & micro-Industries. But most of the industry is unaware of the financial schemes of Govt. of India, in view of this CICU is decided to plan a program for Small industries to tackle financial crunch.

Chanchal Sahu, AGM, SIDBI and Sandeep Maggu, Manager, SIDBI thanked the CICU for the platform and through a presentation they highlighted the various schemes of SIDBI for MSMEs like Green Financing (Energy efficiency machines funding cover), End-to-End Energy Efficiency (4E) Scheme, 4E Financing Scheme for Solar Rooftop, eGPS (Express Green Power for Sustainability) Loans scheme, Express Loan Scheme, ARISE – Assistance to Re-energize capital Investments by SMEs, CGTMSE and other collateral free schemes were informed.

S.B Singh, Joint Secretary, CICU shared that MSMEs should get the benefit of these schemes offered by the SIDBI. He also said that the SIDBI team are very cooperative and industrialists should visit their office for further discussion.

Jaswinder Singh Thukral, President, Janta Nagar Small Scale Manufacturers Association (JSMA) thanked CICU for organizing such a program for the Small & Micro Industries. It will definitely help the industry to grow. 

The meeting was attended by more than 150 industrialists some namely Didarjit Singh, Satinderjit Singh Autom, S.S Passi, Satinderjit Singh Baranala, Mandeep Singh, S.S Ahuja, G.S Mankoo and other members were present in this meeting.
