Ludhiana, July 7, 2023: CICU jointly with PWRDA (Punjab Water Regulation and Development Authority) holds a Training cum Registration camp for Industrial Ground Water Extraction
Upkar Singh Ahuja, President, CICU in his address thanked Karan Avtar Singh. IAS (Retd.), Chairperson of Punjab Water Regulation and Development Authority for supporting industry and appointing senior officials for training & registration at CICU. He also mentioned that the objective of CICU is providing services to MSME at nominal price without any mediator, 50 companies filled the form on the spot.
Maninder Singh, XEN, Sandeep Singh, SDO along with the team of PWRDA explained the necessary documentation for getting NOC for Ground Water Use. They highlighted that the process of getting NOC is very transparent and easy. The Authority categorized the area of Punjab into Green Yellow and Orange. Mostly all area is over-exploited in Ludhiana.
Honey Sethi, General Secretary, and J.S Bhogal, Organising Secretary CICU jointly said that A camp by PWRDA in the coming days will also be organised to get on-spot registration for the Ludhiana industry.
The team PWRDA also cleared quarries raised by the industry.
