Ludhiana, July 22, 2024: The Chamber of Industrial & Commerce Undertaking (CICU), Ludhiana, in collaboration with Oberoi Law Chambers, successfully hosted a session on "Quick Debt Recovery & Dispute Resolution" at the CICU premises in Focal Point, Ludhiana. The event aimed to empower industrialists with the knowledge and tools necessary for efficient debt recovery and dispute resolution.
Advocate Gagan Oberoi, Founding Counsel & Managing Partner of Oberoi Law Chambers, served as the keynote speaker. Advocate Oberoi, renowned for his legal expertise, provided a comprehensive overview of key legal mechanisms, including Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, summary suits, and arbitration. He highlighted the practical applications of these tools in maintaining smooth cash flow and resolving disputes efficiently, addressing common issues faced by industrialists such as delayed payments and contractual disagreements.
The session was well-received by attendees, who actively participated in discussions and gained valuable insights into the legal landscape. An interactive Q&A session followed, where Advocate Oberoi addressed numerous queries from the audience, primarily comprised of industrialists.
