CICU organised 3rd and 4th League Matches of S.Angad Singh Memorial 9th CICU Corporate T-20 Cricket Tournament - 2023

Ludhiana, October 21, 2023: CICU organised third and 4th League Matches of S.Angad Singh Memorial - 9th CICU Corporate T-20 Cricket Tournament - 2023 on 21st Oct. 2023 were played between the teams of Big Ben Exports V/s Kay Jay Forgings and Hero Steels Ltd. V/s. Highway Industries Ltd. (Sahnewal) at Cricket Grounds of GRD Academy Hambran Road, Ludhiana.

The 3rd match toss was won by Big Ben Exports which decided the ball first. Kay Jay Forgings team scored 222 runs in 20 overs by losing 2 wickets and Big Ben Exports team scored 34 runs in 6.4 overs by losing all wickets. The match was won by Kay Jay Forgings by 188 runs. Mr. Sparsh Kothari scored 121 runs with 9 fours and 7 sixes in 68 balls and was declared the best batsman he also took 4 wickets by giving 11 runs in 2 overs.

The 4th match toss was won by the Hero Steels Ltd. team. and they decided to bat first. Hero Steels Ltd. team scored 83 runs in 18.1 overs by losing all wickets and Highway Industries Ltd. Sahnewal team scored 84 runs in 10.4 overs by losing 3 wickets. The match was won by Highway Industries Ltd. Sahnewal team by 7 wickets. Mr. Sachin Sharma scored 23 runs with 3 fours and 1 six and he was declared the best batsman. Mr. Rohit Yadav took 3 wickets by giving 15 runs in 4 overs and he was declared best bowler of the match.

The Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings is proud to be hosting the 9th Corporate T20 Cricket Tournament. He visited the ground to motivate the team players to boost their morale.
 
Honey Sethi, General Secretary, CICU, a great cricket lover said that Ludhiana is full of cricket fans and a lot of enthusiasm is seen among youngsters for this tournament. Watching live sports at the cricket ground is a fun-filled and awesome experience. He played the third ball of the first over and discussed the best practices of cricket. He expressed his thanks to the team managers, players, and sponsors of the tournament to make it a great success.
