CICU Organised 9th & 10th League Matches of S.Angad Singh Memorial - 10th CICU Corporate T-20 Cricket Tournament – 2024

Ludhiana, November 24, 2024: CICU organised 9th and 10th League Matches of S.Angad Singh Memorial - 10th CICU Corporate T-20 Cricket Tournament - 2024 on Sunday were played between the teams of Uniparts India Ltd. V/s Ralson India Ltd. and Ganga Acrowools Ltd.  V/s. Arisudana Industries Ltd. at Cricket Grounds of GRD Academy Hambran Road, Ludhiana.

The 9th league match toss was won by UnipartsI India Ltd. team and they decided to bat first. UnipartsI India Ltd. team scored 176 runs in 20 overs by losing 6 wickets and Ralson India Ltd. team scored 134 runs in 18.1 overs by losing all wickets. The match was won by UnipartsI India Ltd. team by 42 runs. Mr. Neeraj – Captain of UnipartsI India Ltd. scored 58 runs in 35 balls and he was declared the Man of the Match. 

 
The 10th league match toss was won by Ganga Acrowools Ltd. and decided bat first. Ganga Acrowools Ltd. team scored 229 runs in 20 overs by losing 4 wickets and Arisudana Industries Ltd. team scored 123 runs in 20 overs by losing 9 wickets. The match was won by Ganga Acrowools Ltd. with 106 runs. Mr. Gaurav of Ganga Acrowools Ltd. scored 111 runs with 12 fours, 8 sixes in 48 balls and also took 1 wickets by giving only 19 runs in 2 overs and he was declared Man of the Match. 
 

Upkar Singh Ahuja President CICU welcomed the Teams and Other Cricket lovers. He further said that now cricket has become India’s national sport. Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings is proud to be hosting the 9th Corporate T20 Cricket Tournament. Playing cricket develops social skills, intellectual capacities & creativity and contributes a more disciplined attitude. He visited the ground to motivate the Teams Players to boost their morale.
 

Honey Sethi, General Secretary, CICU, a great cricket lover said that Ludhiana is full of cricket fans and a lot of enthusiasm is seen among youngsters for this tournament. Watching live sport at the cricket ground is a fun filled and awesome experience. He played the third ball of the first over and discussed the best practices of cricket. He expressed his thanks to the team managers, players and sponsors of the tournament to make it great success. 

 
Many CICU Senior members and many senior management persons of many companies visited the ground and motivated the teams. They appreciated the ground preparation and arrangements made by CICU Cricket Committee.
