CICU organised successful awareness session on EPF and MP Act

Ludhiana, September 27, 2024: CICU recently hosted a highly informative session on the Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) & Miscellaneous Provisions Act. The event saw Upkar Singh Ahuja, President of the chamber, extend a warm welcome to the esteemed Chief Guest, Saurabh Swami, Regional P.F. Commissioner, with a bouquet in a gesture of appreciation.
 
During the session, Ahuja proposed to the PF Commissioner the implementation of a self-audit and face less scheme akin to income tax within the EPF policy, emphasizing the importance of updated EPF software for enhanced efficiency and compliance.
 
The event featured a noteworthy presentation by PF Commissioner Saurabh Swami on the newly launched employment-linked incentive schemes by the Government of India, outlining the mutual benefits for both employers and employees. The insightful presentation shed light on the government's initiatives aimed at fostering growth and welfare within the industrial sector.
 
Following the presentation, a lively question and answer session engaged over 100 industrialists present, providing them with valuable insights and clarifications. The event concluded on a high note with Honey Sethi, General Secretary of CICU, along with Ajay Bharti, Financial Secretary of CICU, Ram Lubhaya, and Ashish Bansal, presenting mementos to the Chief Guest, acknowledging his contributions to the session.
