CICU Organises 5th CICU T-20 Corporate Cricket Tournament- 2018 for Cricket Lovers

Ludhiana, October 13, 2018: Fifth CICU Corporate T20 Cricket Tournament 2018 will take a start on October 14 with great excitement. The tournament matches will be played on every Sunday, which is spread over period of 8+ weeks at Cricket Stadium Village Duley, Adjacent to Phalahi Sahib Gurdwara on Dehlon Canal Bank on Ludhiana – Dehlon Road. Eight Teams of different companies like M/s Aarti International Ltd, Citizen Press Components, New Swan Enterprises, Ludhiana Beverages, Highway Industries Ltd, Kundan Lal & Sons, Arisudana Industries Limited, Big Ben Exports have registered to play this Tournament. These Teams will be divided into two Groups and at least 3 League matches will be played by each team, followed by semi finals and final matches of the Tournament.

It will be inaugurated by Sh. Umesh Munjal M.D. Highway Industries Ltd. in the presence of leading industrialist and CICU Management. The first match on 14.10.18, will be played between M/s Aarti International & Citizen Press Components teams in the Morning Session and Second Match will be played M/s Highways Industries Ltd & Kundan Lal & Sons, teams in the evening session

The year tournament was full of excitement and enjoyment while watching the matches. Highway Industries Limited won the last Tournament and Deepak Fasteners Limited was the runner up, who have gave very tough fight till the last ball of the last over. Match was played in the extra overs provided to both teams to conclude the tournament. The prize distribution function was held after the final match of the Tournament. Sh. Onkar Singh Pahwa, CMD Avon Cycles Limited graced this Occasion, motivated the teams and sports lovers present in the Cricket Ground during last function. He distributed the awards to the Winner, Runner-up Teams and Best Batsman, Best Bowler and Best All-Rounder of the Tournament.
