Ludhiana, December 9, 2023: CICU in collaboration with IIMM Ludhiana Branch Conducted a Seminar cum one day training on supply chain management on CICU Focal point, Ludhiana. The main agenda of this seminar was Effective Supply chain management and Lean Manufacturing in industry.
Upkar Singh Ahuja, President of CICU and Chairman IIMM Ludhiana Branch mentioned industry is passing through a crucial time. Cost saving is the need of the hour.
S. K Sharma Former National President-IIMM presented an interactive talk on Supply Chain Management and lean manufacturing tools and techniques for efficient working of Industry and control operative cost and Increase profitability. He stressed on eight types of wastes, objectives of lean and critical steps for deployment lean, journey of lean transformation, drivers of lean SCM, lean process mapping tools, and various case study.
Jitender Pal Singh Manchanda National Councilor IIMM Ludhiana Branch also gave advice to all the participants to implement the concept of Lean Manufacturing. Which will help in increasing productivity also reduce cost.
Rajesh Gupta Chairman IIMM Chandigarh Brach also participated in discussions.
CICU keep organizing such seminar which are very useful to the industry and which are helpful in reducing costs which is a major part of production cost.
More than 20 delegates from Industry attended the programme.
