CICU Organises Workshop on How to Design MIS for CEOs and Top Management
Ludhiana, March 28, 2019: Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU) has been organizing various programs for the benefit of the industry and trade sectors of Punjab. CICU is instrumental in upliftment the standards of working in Ludhiana by providing such trainings & seminars at regular intervals. In one of such program i.e how to Design MIS for CEOs and Top Management was organized by Chamber. Sh. Upkar Singh Ahuja, President CICU in his welcome address said that that MIS is very vital tool for effective decision making and coordination, control, analysis of application of technologies, people and process for achieving Operational Excellence. He also said that MIS is an effective tool to provide relevant information to various levels of Management to discharge their functions in organizing, planning, controlling and decision making in most effective way. Sh. Ahuja also attended the full workshop as like other participants. The interactive & thought provoking program was conducted by Mr. Alok Sahu CEO - Tetrahedron Manufacturing Services Pvt. Ltd. leading consultant and advisor for manufacturing companies. He is having more than 15 years of experience in this sector. In his session he covered Introduction to MIS and Dashboards, Tools to Identify Critical Parameters, Initiate MIS and Result Management information System, Why both are required?, Type of reports for effective decision making, Trend Analysis to Identify Mindset Problems, Capability / Engineering Problems, Capacity/Technology Problems and How to effectively use MIS based on these Trends. More than 44 participants from different companies by some namely Mr. Karan Dua, Geminy Industrial Ent., Mr. Anil Mehta, Mehta Automotive, Mr. Rakesh Vij, Ashoka Dying, Mr. Rajesh Singla, Bonn Nutrients ltd, Mr. Nikhil Dhand, Dhand Steel India, , Mr. Jagtar Singh CEO, Madho Agro Inds, Mr. Surinder Arora Head MIS, SportKings and consisting of Executives, Managers, Senior Managers, GMs, CEOs attended the program.
