CICU organizes first and second league match of 6th CICU Corporate T-20 Cricket Tournament- 2019

Ludhiana, October 15, 2019: Sixth CICU Corporate T20 Cricket Tournament 2019 took a start on 13.10.2019 with great excitement. The tournament matches will be played on every Sunday, which is spread over period of 12 weeks at Cricket Ground SCD Govt. College for Boys Ludhiana.
Twelve Participating Corporate Teams have been divided into three Groups. Each team would be playing three league matches.
The First League match was played by Group – A Teams between Vardhman Special Steels Ltd. V/s. Hero Cycles Ltd. in the morning session. The Vardhman Special Steels Ltd. scored 101 runs in 20 Overs by losing 7 Wickets and Hero Cycles Ltd. scored 62 runs in 14.1 Overs by losing 10 Wickets. The Match was won by Vardhman Special Steels Ltd. team by 39 runs. Mr. Sangram batsman of Vardhman Special Steels Ltd. scored 47 runs with 5 fours in 55 balls.
The second League match was played by Group – B Teams between Farmparts Company V/s. Highway Industries Ltd. in the Evening session. The Farmparts Company scored 158 runs in 20 Overs by losing 7 Wickets and Highway Industries Ltd. scored 158 runs in 20 Overs by losing 9 Wickets. It was draw and followed by super over. In super over Farmparts Company scored 6 runs with the loss of 2 wickets whereas HIL scored 12 runs without any loss of wickets. The Match was won by Highway Industries Ltd team by 6 runs and 0 wickets in super over. The Both teams played well with full excitement. Mr. Amandeep Singh batsman of Highway Industries Ltd. scored 34 runs with 6 fours in 27 balls.
