CICU signs MoU with GNE College

Ludhiana, July 29, 2019: Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings (CICU), Ludhiana has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College Ludhiana for promoting industry institute interaction.

Under this project funded by GIZ (A German Govt Agency), students of GNE College will be working on finding solutions to the problems of Industries, with the help of their faculty members and GIZ Experts.

Pankaj Sharma General Secretary CICU while expressing his views shared that this is the need of the hour & it will benefit Industries as well as students.

Dr.Sehaj Pal Singh Principal GNE assured that faculty & students of GNE College will put sincere efforts to make these projects successful. 6 Projects have already been identified in different Industries & students have already started working on these projects.

Sarabjot Singh Technical Expert GIZ shared the experiences of similar project recently concluded in Maharashtra. He emphasized that till 2020 this project will be implemented in Ludhiana Industries.

S.B. Singh Joint Secretary, who arranged for grassroot working of this project, thanked Dr. Paramjeet Singh HOD Mech Engg. GNE College and Amandeep Singh from Apex Cluster Development Services for their efforts to make this project successful.

Others who attended the meeting included Krishan Kumar and Rajinder Kumar Assistant Director MSME, SS Rekhi Functional Manager DIC, Gautam Malhotra Vice President CICU, Harjai Gambhir from Ballkings and Ratan K Saha from Arora Iron & Steel.
