CICU & TCEB meets to promote business ties between India & Thaland by organising joint exhibitions

Ludhiana, April 8, 2015: Avtar Singh, President, Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU) in a statement released today said that CICU & Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB – a Thailand Govt.Recognised Agency) held a meeting today in CICU Complex and shared the views for the promotion of Trade & Business between India & Thailand through joint organising of Trade Shows/Exhibitions. 

The President received & welcomed the visiting Delegation of TCEB headed by Kanokporn Damrongkul, Director of Exhibitions.  The other members of the delegations were Techadhorn Vilaiwan (NuVhan), Suranart Phiphadkusolkul and Sachin Manocha.

At the beginning of the meeting S B Singh, Publicity Secretary welcomed the visiting delegation and gave brief introduction about the CICU.  Then Kanokporn Damrongkul, Director, TCEB thankfully acknowledged the welcome and gave brief introduction about TCEB.

Following the introduction session, Sandeep Gill, Executive (Events), CICU supported the presentation of CICU while S B Singh explained the activities of the Chamber.  It was followed by presentation given by Sachnin Manocha, Representative, TCEB and explained the opportunities of joining hands by CICU & TCEB & narrated that how the delegations of Associations can avail the benefits from the Government of Thailand by visiting Thailand in the Exhibitions to be organised by TCEB.

Thereafter, during the discussions with the President, CICU - The Director, TCEB said that the objective of their visit to CICU, Ludhiana is to let the Ludhiana Industrialists know about the possibilities of growing business between India & Thailand by visiting in the Trade Shows & Exhibitions being organized by TCEB in Thailand.  She also handed over a copy of Calender of Full Years’ Exhibitions being organized by TCEB.  She further stated that there are plenty of opportunity to make business tie ups in Food, Automotives, Machine Tools, Handicrafts & Agricultural Implements Sectors.  She also showed interested to visit again in Ludhiana to meet to prominent leaders of Industries & various Associations.  Didarjeet Singh, Press Secretary, CICU proposed the organizing of conducting Catalogue Show in CICU Complex by TCEB.

The meeting ended up in a very positive note and hopes of growing business relations between both the countries. Both the sides seen off with hope to meet each other again, soon.
