CII Ludhiana Zone celebrated 7th UN Global Road Safety Week with Officials of Traffic Police

Ludhiana, May 19, 2023: CII Ludhiana Zone Organised Interactive Session with Senior Officials of Traffic Police, Ludhiana at Avon Cycles Ltd, premises today wherein around 40 plus CII members attended the same to mark the occasion of 7th UN Global Road Safety Week.
In the opening remarks, Rishi Pahwa, Chairman, CII, Ludhiana Zone and JMD Avon Cycles Limited welcomed the guests Charanjiv Lamba, ACP Traffic 1 and Gurpreet Singh, ACP Traffic 2. Pahwa also enlightened the initiatives taken by CII in collaboration with Punjab Police Officials like Health Check-Up Camps for Police Personnel’s, Awareness on Traffic Rules & Road Safety to name few and also ensured strong association of CII & Ludhiana Police in future too.
Charanjiv Lamba, ACP Traffic 1, Ludhiana addressed the CII Members and briefed on the various Initiatives of Ludhiana Traffic Police. Mr. Lamba also ensured the timely solutions of the concerns related to traffic and road safety raised by members.
Gurpreet Singh, ACP Traffic 2, Ludhiana also addressed the CII Members and briefed on the various activities organised in the Ludhiana City by traffic police during 7th UN Global Road Safety Week.
Lokesh Jain, Vice Chairman, CII Ludhiana and Partner – TK Steels appreciated the initiatives & approached of Traffic Police officials in listening the concerns of the members related to Road Safety & Traffic.
Randeep Bhogal from M/s Bhogal Sales Corporation &, Convenor, CII Ludhiana Zone apprised that due to development & construction work in the city some traffic issues are there but these issues are temporary and Ludhiana Traffic Police is effectively working on the concerns of Ludhiana City.
Many others prominent CII members attended the interactive session including Onkar Singh Pahwa, S S Bhogal, Gurmeet Kular, Jaswinder Singh, Ashpreet Singh, J K Sablok, Vanit Aggarwal, Ajay Nayyar, Tushar, Vishesh Bhandari, Dr. Deepak Jain, Bhupesh Jain, Gautam Jain, Shubinder, Raj Kundra, Jatinder Singh and Janak Raj Goyal to name few.
