CII Ludhiana Zone organised Interactive Workshop on ZED (Zero Defect Zero Effect)

Ludhiana, August 18, 2023: CII Ludhiana Zone Organised Interactive Workshop on ZED (Zero Defect Zero Effect) for their members in collaboration with department of MSME and City Needs Innovations Pvt. Ltd.  at Avon Cycles Ltd, premises today wherein around 40 plus CII members attended the same. 

In the opening remarks, Rishi Pahwa, Chairman, CII, Ludhiana Zone and JMD Avon Cycles Limited shared that (ZED) Certification is an extensive drive to create awareness amongst MSMEs about Zero Defect Zero Effect (ZED) practices and motivate & incentivise them for ZED Certification while also encouraging them to become MSME Champions. 

Pahwa said that CII Ludhiana Zone is encouraging and enable CII Members for manufacturing of quality products using latest technology, tools & to constantly upgrade their processes for achievement of high quality and high productivity with the least effect on the environment.

Virinder Sharma, Director, MSME, Chief Guest of the event shared that Government of India encouraging the industry especially the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), to manufacture goods in the country with "zero defects" and to ensure that the goods have "zero effect" on the environment and avail the benefits to these schemes.

Maneet Dewan, Director, City Needs Innovation Pvt. Ltd., speaker For the ZED Workshop, gave briefed Introduction of the ZED scheme, registration process and benefits which can be availed by CII MSME members at different level i.e. Bronze, Silver & Gold Certificates. 

It was a fruitful session for one and all that concluded with a vote of thanks by CA Abhilash Aneja, Panel Member and also presents a token of gratitude to the guest speaker.
