CISCE Zonal Level Badminton Competition successfully concluded at Sat Paul Mittal School

Ludhiana, July 13, 2024: Hosted by Sat Paul Mittal School, Dugri, Ludhiana, CISCE Zonal Level Badminton Competition concluded successfully on 12th July. Sports persons from over six schools from Ludhiana Zone participated this two-day tournament with great zeal. Their high spirits and enthusiasm reverberated throughout the school campus and created an atmosphere of sporting fervour.

The opening ceremony of the tournament was held on 11th July 2024 was graced by Bhupinder Gogia, Principal, Sat Paul Mittal School. She welcomed the players with words of encouragement and wished them good luck.

The matches enthused the players with great fervor who played in a friendly yet competitive atmosphere. Their passion for the game and long hours of practice was apparent from their performance. Each player gave their best shot to secure triumph for their respective schools. Their magnificent display of skill and competency was the highlight of the Tournament.

After a fierce competition, Sat Paul Mittal School emerged as the Champions of the tournament.

•    In the Under 19 Senior category, Boys, Sat Paul Mittal School bagged first position and second position was secured by Sacred Heart Convent School, Sahnewal.
•    In the Under 19 Senior category, Girls, Sat Paul Mittal School bagged the first position and Sacred Heart Convent School, Jamalpur bagged the second position in the CISCE Zonal Level Badminton Tournament.
•    In the Under 17 Junior Category, Boys, the first position was bagged by Sacred Heart Convent School, Samrala and the second position was secured by Sat Paul Mittal School.
•    In the Under 17 Junior category, Girls, Sat Paul Mittal School won the first prize and the second position was won by Sacred Heart Convent School, Samrala.
•    Sat Paul Mittal School won the first position and Sacred Heart Convent School, Jamalpur won the second position in the Under 14 Sub-Junior Category Boys.
•    In the Under 14 Sub-Junior category, Girls, Sat Paul Mittal School seized the first position and Sacred Heart Convent School, Samrala bagged the second position.

Bhupinder Gogia, Principal, Sat Paul Mittal School, congratulated the winners of the CISCE Zonal Level Badminton Competition and praised them for their hard work, dedication, and perseverance. The principal highlighted the importance of sports in the overall development of a child’s personality and awarded the prizes to the winners of different competitions.
