City-based Medical Writing Company joins hands with Lovely Professional University (LPU) to develop a ‘Literature Research Facility’
AccuScript Medical Writing Service, a Ludhiana-based medical writing company with a global clientele, has entered into an agreement with Lovely Professional University, Phagwara (Jalandhar) to support and participate in development of a dedicated ‘Literature Research Facility’ at the university.

Ludhiana, October 15, 2022: AccuScript Medical Writing Service, a Ludhiana-based medical writing company with a global clientele, has entered into an agreement with Lovely Professional University, Phagwara (Jalandhar) to support and participate in development of a dedicated ‘Literature Research Facility’ at the university.
The research facility will be involved in performing the systematic and targeted literature reviews on pharmaceutical and related clinical domains. The financial support in the form of a research grant of US Dollars 18,000 (approx. 15 Lakh) will be provided by AccuScript for the establishment of the facility. Under the collaborative research program, AccuScript will participate in organising seminars, symposia and training sessions to develop the human resources for the research facility. An internship program to provide training students of the university on Health Economic and Outcome Research (HEOR) will also be developed.
A formal MOU for this purpose was signed between Dr Rajinder Chawla, CEO, AccuScript Medical Writing Service and Dr Monica Gulati, Registrar, Lovely Professional University, Phagwara (Jalandhar) at the LPU Campus on October 14, 2022.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Chawla informed that AccuScript is the only private company in Punjab performing research on HEOR and providing consultancy to global pharmaceutical companies. He highlighted the importance of desk research to gain, compile and analyse the information on the clinical efficacy, safety and cost effectiveness of the drugs under development.
The research program at LPU will be conducted under the guidance Dr Chawla with Dr Amit Kishore as the convenor from AccuScript in co-ordination with Dr.Amit and Dr.Monika Gulati from Lovely Professional University.
