City Doctor has made it to the Indian Civil services

Dr.Balpreet Singh cleared UPSC with an AIR 462 Dr.Balpreet Singh (29) a resident of Bhagu Road Bathinda has successfully cleared the Union Public Services Commission examination declared on Friday with an All India Rank of 462. Dr.Singh is the son of Er.Balwinder Singh, who is working as an executive engineer in Punjab Urban Development Authority and currently posted at Bathinda Development Authority, while his mother Smt.Jaswinder Kaur is a housewife, Dr.Balpreet took his schooling at Dasmesh Public School Bathinda later he joined Bachelor of Medicine and bachelor of surgery (MBBS) at Adesh Medical College and Hospital, Bhucho Mandi and got the degree in medical studies in 2013. Following the path shown by the Architect of Modern India, Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar, Dr. Singh chosen Civil services as his career. Giving it a hard attempt he had successfully made it this year. Dr. Balpreet Singh has two brothers in his house, out of them Amanpreet Singh is living at New Zealand, while the other one Jaspreet Singh is a journalist, currently working at private university at Chandigarh. “I wish to serve the nation in an honest and dedicated manner. Let’s see the commission provides me the chance to offer service at which department, but I make sure that by putting my level best in following the great legacy of Indian democracy I will give equal treatment to every citizen.” Said, Dr. Balpreet Singh.
