CIVIL SURGEON HOLDS MEETING WITH HEALTH DEPTT OFFICIALS REGARDING UPCOMING LOK SABHA ELECTIONS

Ludhiana: In view of the upcoming Lok Sabha 2019 elections, Civil Surgeon Dr Parvinderpal Singh Sidhu on Saturday (May 11) chaired an important meeting with all the SMOs, Programme Officers and other health department officials. During the meeting, he directed all the officials to perform their duty with utmost devotion and honesty. The officials have also been directed to ensure ample number of wheel chairs, medicines, first aid kits and other important items required in case of an emergency. The awareness pamphlets, voter awareness material etc received from the Deputy Commissioner office were also distributed in the meeting. On this occasion, DIO Dr Jasvir Singh informed that the Intensified Diarrhoea Control Fortnight is starting from May 28 and the officials were asked to prepare microplan in this regard. Dr Ramesh Bhagat Epidemiologist also urged everyone to create awareness about dengue and malaria fever because the summer season has already started.
