Chandigarh, October 25, 2024: Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan of Panjab University in collaboration with the Department of Evening Studies today organised a cleanliness drive in the campus.
The drive saw active participation from students who contributed to cleaning the lawn, parking areas, and corridors.
Prof. (Dr.) Neeraj Jain, Chairperson of the Department, Dr. Keerti Vardhan, Event Coordinator, and Dr. Anuj Kumar, Coordinator of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan at Panjab University, led the event. They emphasised the importance of adopting cleanliness as a core value and encouraged students to contribute actively to a cleaner campus environment.
Additionally, they inspired volunteers to engage in waste management, sanitation efforts, and public awareness activities.
