Jalandhar, October 24,2024: Ivy World School under the aegis of Vasal Education   enthusiastically participated in a vibrant event, ‘Swachta Di Lehar’ organised by the Government of Punjab in Jalandhar. 

The cleanliness drive was inaugurated by Dr. Ravjot Singh, Cabinet Minister of Punjab, who emphasised the importance of community involvement in maintaining a clean environment.

The rally aimed to achieve key objectives, including raising awareness about the significance of cleanliness for improving overall quality of life and preserving the environment. It sought to instigate behavioural change by motivating individuals to embrace responsible waste management, minimize littering, and actively contribute to the cleanliness of public spaces.

Students and faculty members of Ivy World School showcased their commitment to the cause by creating colorful posters and catchy slogans that promoted cleanliness and environmental stewardship. These creative displays not only added vibrancy to the event but also served as powerful messages to inspire others in the community.

The President of Vasal Education, K K Vasal, The Chairman Sanjeev Kumar Vasal, The Vice President Ena Vasal, The CEO Raghav Vasal and The Director, Aditi Vasal emphasized that Vasal Education is committed to nurturing responsible citizens. They echoed the sentiment by further adding that participating in initiatives like ‘Swachta Di Lehar’ not only enriches the students’ learning experiences but also reinforces their dedication to a cleaner, healthier environment.

The Director Principal  expressed pride in the students' enthusiastic participation, stating that the students are the future leaders and it is essential for them to understand the value of cleanliness and environmental responsibility. She further added that such events serve as important platforms for students to learn and contribute to the society.
