Ferozepur, January 30, 2019: The 64th National School Woodball Championship concludes at the Vivekananda World School, Ferozepur. In the concluding ceremony, the Chief Guest, Honorable Commissioner, Ferozepur Range, Mr. Sumer Singh Gurjar and as a special Guest Mr. Baljit Singh Sidhu, SP (Investigation) graced the occasion.
National Sports Woodball Championship of the Under-17 and Under-19 (boys and girls) from January 27 to January 30, 2019 , under the aegis of National School Games Federation of India, highlighting the sports spirit, CBSE Board ,was organized in collaboration with Woodball Association of Punjab. The opportunity of hosting the National Schools Woodball Sports, for the first time in this border town, was organized at Vivekananda World School,
Ferozepur.

On the closing ceremony ,Mr. Gaurav Bhaskar (President Punjab Woodball Association )said that welcoming national level sportspersons in the border town Ferozepur, is a matter of great pride. In the cultural program organized on this occasion, where singers Tarun Deep and Kamal Dravid spellbound the audience while the Giddha performance by schoolgirls enthralled
the players and administrators from various states with Punjabi Heritage.

Mr. Sumer Singh Gurjar Commissioner, Ferozepur division, in his message, encouraged the players to join their heritage and to bring the country's name at international level national.
