CM also performs `puja’ at Jakhu temple
After assuming the charge of Chief Minister, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu for the first time paid a courtesy call on Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar at Raj Bhavan, today.
Dharamshala/Shimla, December 13, 2022: After assuming the charge of Chief Minister, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu for the first time paid a courtesy call on Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar at Raj Bhavan, today.
While congratulating the Chief Minister, the Governor hoped that under his leadership Himachal Pradesh would scale new heights of development.
"I have seen the performance of Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu in Vidhan Sabha, he is a visionary leader and I hope, he and his team will perform all the administrative works smoothly", said Arlekar.
The Chief Minister said that he would seek the guidance of the Governor to take Himachal Pradesh forward on the path of development. He said that it would be his endeavor to make Himachal an ideal State of the country in terms of development.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister also introduced all the present MLAs to the Governor.
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today also performed 'puja' at Hanuman temple Jakhu, Shimla. He also went around the temple complex and gave necessary directions for its improvement.
The Chief Minister was accompanied by his wife Kamlesh Thakur and daughters.
Political Advisor to Chief Minister Sunil Sharma, MLAs Rohit Thakur, Jagat Singh Negi, Rajesh Dharmani, Sunder Singh Thakur, Ravi Thakur and Kewal Singh Pathania and Deputy Commissioner Aditya Negi, Superintendent of Police Monica and other senior officers also accompanied the Chief Minister.
