CM condoles death of founder Editor of Spokesman Joginder Singh 

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Sunday condoled the sad demise of founder Editor of Spokesman Newspaper Joginder Singh (83), who passed away this evening at a private hospital in Mohali after prolonged illness. He is survived by his wife and two daughters.

Chandigarh, August 4, 2024: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Sunday condoled the sad demise of founder Editor of Spokesman Newspaper Joginder Singh (83), who passed away this evening at a private hospital in Mohali after prolonged illness. He is survived by his wife and two daughters.

In a condolence message, the Chief Minister described Joginder Singh as a dedicated journalist who was committed to the cause Punjab and its people.  He said that the fearless journalist, who founded Spokesman Newspaper and took it to zenith, was a fine human being, who was committed to professional ethics and whose contribution in the promotion of Punjabi Language, Art and Culture through his writings would be always remembered by one and all.

Sharing his heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family, relatives and friends, the Chief Minister prayed to the Almighty to give courage to them to bear this huge loss in this hour of grief and grant eternal peace to the departed soul.
