CM congratulates Police College for achieving Union Home Minister Trophy
Dharamsala, April 8, 2022: Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur congratulated the Himachal Pradesh Police Training College (HPPTC) for bagging the Union Home Minister’s Trophy by standing first in different categories of training on two occasions. He said the Himachal Pradesh Government is committed to provide every assistance in making the institute excellent at the national level.
To give a new direction to the activities of police force, Jai Ram Thakur also laid the foundation stone of various buildings worth Rs 30 crore at the Himachal Pradesh Police Training College in Daroh in Kangra district on Friday, which include a modern library worth Rs 6 crore, Mini Scientific Laboratory worth Rs 8.26 crore, Multipurpose Building worth Rs 12.57 crore and Type IV and V housing buildings worth Rs 3.83 crore.
HPPTC Principal Bimal Gupta thanked the Chief Minister and Director General of Police Sanjay Kundu for giving new impetus to the infrastructure of the institute.
