Dharamsala, December 21, 2023: Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today conducted a surprise visit of Rs. 17 crore IT Park, spread about two acres at Chaitaru adjacent to Dharamsala near Gaggal airport in Kangra district.

Himachal Pradesh is poised to leap into the future of technology with the Chaitaru IT Park, a promising development under the watchful eye of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. During a surprise visit to the 2-acre site near Gaggal Airport in Kangra District, the Chief Minister set an ambitious deadline: completion by 2024. This swift timeline reflects the state's urgent need for IT infrastructure and its potential to boost the local economy.

Chief Minister Sukhu emphasized the IT Park's potential for job creation, especially for the vibrant youth of Kangra. He directed the district administration to swiftly fulfill basic requirements like roads, electricity, and water supply to ensure smooth progress and meet the set deadline.
