CMC dentist gets award at a national conference
Ludhiana, October 13, 2018: Dr.Tejaswani (Assistant Professor, Department of Periodontics) won the Dr.TN Chawla award for best paper in the 43rd National Conference of the Indian Society of Periodontology (ISP) held at Panchkula from October 5 to 7, 2018. It was a three day conference organized by the ISP, attended by more than one thousand delegates from all over the country. ISP is a specialty organization consisting of more than 8000 members practising periodontology representing diverse areas and designations across the country. This award was instituted in honor of Dr. TN Chawla, who was a pioneering India dentist, and professor of dental surgery and head of department at King George Medical College, Lucknow. Dr.Tejaswani's paper on assessment of the efficacy of platform switched implant and papilla preservation flap design in minimizing crestal bone loss around single tooth implant (a randomized clinical trial) won the first prize in the dissertation category.
