CMC stands with Bengal doctors
Ludhiana, June 14, 2019: Doctors across the country are on a strike, boycotting work and staging protests holding placards and banners with ‘Save the Doctors’ written on them. The doctors' strike that started in Kolkata earlier this week has now spread across India with the doctors' here at Christian Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana also showing full support to their West Bengal colleagues. Speaking on the occasion Dr.William Bhatti, Director CMC Hospital, Ludhiana said that the entire CMC faculty and students stand in support of the doctors in West Bengal and condemn the attacks on the doctor anywhere in the country. Doctors worked with black badges to mark their protest and asked for the measures to be taken to protect doctors.
