CME on Head and Neck OncoReconstruction-A Newer Perspective held
Department of Plastic Surgery, DMCH under the aegis of North Zone Association North Zone Association of Plastic Surgeon organized a CME on Head and Neck OncoReconstruction-A Newer Perspective at DMC College Campus
Ludhiana, July 24, 2022: Department of Plastic Surgery, DMCH under the aegis of North Zone Association North Zone Association of Plastic Surgeon organized a CME on Head and Neck OncoReconstruction-A Newer Perspective at DMC College Campus which was attended by a wide gathering of Plastic Surgeons and Onco Surgeons from all over the region.
The event was inaugurated by Prem Kumar Gupta Secretary DMCH Managing Society. Also present on the occasion were Principal Dr Sandeep Puri, Vice Principal Dr G S Wander, Dean Academics Dr Sandeep Kaushal, Medcial Supdts. Dr Ashwani KChaudhary, Dr Sandeep Sharma and Dr Bishav Mohan.
The esteemed faculty who graced the event were Dr Vinay Kant Shankdhar from Tata Memorial Mumbai , Dr Sanjay Mahendru from Medanta Hospital Gurgaon , Dr Mohit Sharma from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences Faridabad , Dr Kiran Mahendru and Dr Sumit Gupta from DMCH and Dr Satya Swaroop Tripathi from PGI, Chandigarh.
Secretary, DMCH Managing Society Prem Kumar Gupta congratulated the Department of Plastic Surgery for conducting this CME.
Organizing Chairman, Professor and Head Department of Plastic Surgery Dr R K Mittal, said that main purpose to conduct this CME is to impart knowledge about the newer perspective in Head and Neck OncoReconstruction and this event acted as a platform at which Plastic Surgeons and Onco Surgeons enhance their skills and exchange their knowledge.
Scientific session held during the CME covered various topics pertain to Buccal Mucosal Defects, Pharyngeal Reconstruction, Goals of Oncologist Reconstruction, Tongue and Floor of mouth defects , Complex Maxillary defects and Mandibular Reconstruction and various other important topics.
The CME got concluded with a hands on training workshop on bone models which was conducted by Dr Ramneesh Garg and Dr Sheerin Shah. Various group discussions and sessions made this CME more interactive and was well appreciated by the audience.
