CME on Physiotherapy in Critical Care Management

Ludhiana, April 4, 2016: Department of Physiotheraphy, Hero DMC Heart Institute organized CME on ‘Physiotherapy in Critical Care Management’.
Experts during CME dwell on the topic related to physiotherapy management for the patients in ICCU and other rehabilitation program who underwent cardiac and other surgeries.
Scientific studies have shown that for critically-ill patients, early physiotherapy has been instrumental in improving quality of life prevent ICU-related complications.
Dr Kalyan Chakravarthy, Dr.Abraham from Manipal University and Dr. Jayaprakash from Medanta Hospital, New Delhi and Dr.Vivek Gupta from Hero DMC Heart Institute were the key speakers. Around 160 delegates from various parts of country participated in the conference.
Secretary of DMCH Managing Society- Sh Prem Kumar Gupta and Chief Cardiologist-cum-Coordinator Dr GS Wander lauded the efforts of organizers including Dr. Dhinakaran, Dr.Vibha Sharma, Dr.Heena Khanna and Dr.Ramandeep Kaur.
