Ludhiana, December 3, 2018: Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology organized a CME on ‘Recent updates in Obstetrics & Gynaecology’.
Organizing Chairperson Dr Ashima Taneja (Professor & Head of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, DMCH) said that around 250 delegates participated in the CME.
Eminent speakers, during the CME were Dr Kiran Guleri from Delhi, Dr Vabita Suri from Chandigarh, Dr Vivek Marwah , Dr Nikita Trehan, Dr Shalini Rajaram, Dr Rashmi Malik from Delhi and Dr Ajay Aggarwal from Chandigarh, who delivered talks and presented videos on latest developments in the field of Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
Co-organizing Chairperson Dr Suman Puri (Professor of Obstetrics & Gynaecology), Dr Kavita Bhatti, Dr Lovleen Sodhi and Dr Akhand Prakash updated the audience regarding the role of PGD/PGS(latest development) in IVF.
Dr Sunil Juneja, Dr Pooja Tandon, Dr Neeraj Nagpal, Dr Promila Jindal and Dr Seema Grover participated as panelists in panel discussion on ‘Medico-legal controversies in Obstetrics & Gynecology’
Dr Kanupriya Jain conducted the inauguration ceremony and those present were Secretary of DMCH Managing Society-Sh Prem Kumar Gupta, Principal Dr SandeePuri, Medical Suptds.Dr Sandeep Sharma and Dr Ashwani Chaudhary.
Dr Shweta Gupta highlighted that the doctors should follow Medical termination of pregnancy(MTP) policies.
