CMR University inaugurated its 2024-25 academic programmes for School of Economics and Commerce, School of Legal Studies, School of Management and School of Science & Computer Studies with a spectacular Inaugural and Orientation function on 26th July, at OMBR Campus. The event saw the participation of nearly 850+ enthusiastic new students and their parents, eager to begin this new chapter in their educational journey.

Bangalore, July 26, 2024: CMR University inaugurated its 2024-25 academic programmes for School of Economics and Commerce, School of Legal Studies, School of Management and School of Science & Computer Studies with a spectacular Inaugural and Orientation function on 26th July, at OMBR Campus. The event saw the participation of nearly 850+ enthusiastic new students and their parents, eager to begin this new chapter in their educational journey.
The occasion was honored by the presence of Prof. Chambi Puranik, the Chief Academic Advisor and former Member of the Distance Education Council (DEC), New Delhi, who served as the chief guest. The event also featured prominent figures such as Dr. HB Raghavendra, Vice-Chancellor; Dr. Praveen R, Registrar, Deans and Directors of the university.
Welcoming the gathering, Dr. HB Raghavendra congratulated the students for placing their confidence in the university and thanked the parents for trusting CMR University to mentor their wards. He assured them that students would receive holistic development, regardless of their chosen course, by participating in the innovations and activities across all campuses.
After inaugurating the ceremony, Prof. Chambi Puranik delivered an inspiring speech, urging students to understand the value of discipline. "Without discipline, nothing can be achieved. This is the kind of value the teachers at CMR University are going to impart along with the subjects they teach. Additionally, the value of being a good citizen starts with being a good student. During your days at this university, that is what you should strive to achieve," he shared.
