Jalandhar: DIPS school Begowal organized colour combination activity to make students understand the importance of various colours. Teachers demonstrated how red, blue, yellow the basic colours are mixed with the other colours to make secondary colours. Students of nursery, prep and kg made beautiful rainbow with the help of colour, paper, water colours and clay with their hands.
Teachers mentioned about the significance of colours in our life and there are many colours in the world of colours but red, blue, yellow are the primary colours which help in creating many other colours. By mixing red and blue colour we obtain purple colour, red and yellow colour are mixed to get Orange, yellow and Blue colour are mixed to get green colour. Similarly by increasing or decreasing the quantity, many other colours amazing shades can be obtained.
Principal Yukti Dogra commented that when children are small they take a pencil to draw different painting in a various ways. Painting is the only medium by which these young minds express themselves. Therefore it is of utmost important that students have a deep knowledge of colours because it is the choice and the selection of different colours that depict a child's mind and emotions.
