Commemorative event to mark Martyrdom of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev
The Department of Ancient Indian History, Culture & Archaeology and Department of Education, Panjab University jointly organized a commemorative event to mark the Martyrdom of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev on the theme “ Shaheed Bhagat Singh: A Thinker, Scholar and Patriot” on Friday.

Chandigarh, March 22, 2024: The Department of Ancient Indian History, Culture & Archaeology and Department of Education, Panjab University jointly organized a commemorative event to mark the Martyrdom of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev on the theme “ Shaheed Bhagat Singh: A Thinker, Scholar and Patriot” on Friday.
The lecture was delivered by Prof. ChamanLal, Professor (Retired) Jawaharlal Nehru University, Honorary Adviser, Bhagat Singh Archives and Resource Centre, New Delhi and in the chair was Prof. Sukhmani Bal Riar, Professor (Retired) Dept. of History, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
The lecture was followed by a short play enacted by the students of the department.
The event was very well attended by faculty members, research scholars and students
