Gurugram: DLF5, on Monday, witnessed the inauguration of the first start-of-the-art Police Station within its premises. The police station was inaugurated by Shri Sandeep Khirwar, Commissioner of Police, Gurugram. The police station is spread over one acre and comprises of the offices of Assistant Commissioner of Police, DLF (ACP, DLF), and Assistant Commissioner of Police, Crime and Cyber Cell. The inauguration was attended by a host of dignitaries including Aakash Ohri, Senior Executive Director, DLF, Deputy Commissioner of Police – Crime, DCP (HQ and Traffic), DCP (East) Gurgaon.

DLF5 is one of the safest and most secure areas in Gurugram and presence of a police station housing ACP, DLF’s office will add another layer of security, adding to the safety and welfare of the residents. Along with this, soon the police station will also have Foreigner Regional Registration Office (FRRO) and a modernized cyber cell unit, only of its kind in Haryana.

The three-floor office, situated on Horizon Drive near the luxury condominiums The Icon and The Pinnacle are equipped with modern infrastructure to address all situations. A customer help desk has also been set up for the residents of DLF5 to facilitate any issues pertaining to Sushant Lok and sector 53 police station.

Speaking at the inauguration, Aakash Ohri, Senior Executive Director, DLF5 said, “Ensuring safety of our residents is our foremost priority. Setting up of a new police station with world-class infrastructure is a vital step for enhancing the security of the area. The move will add an extra layer of security to DLF5”

Sandeep Khirwar, Commissioner of Police, Gurugram added, “We want to assure residents that the police are taking serious steps to improve the law and order situation in the city. This is a model police station with state of the art infrastructure and a Cyber Cell unit at DLF5. This station will be equipped with all necessary modern infrastructures, enabling us to do our jobs more effectively and efficiently.”
