Commonwealth Professional Fellows Alumni Reunion Day and One-day workshop on Preparing Library Leaders of Tomorrow
Dr. Neeraj Kumar (Deputy librarian) who has been awarded Commonwealth Professional Fellowship twice in the year 2012 and 2017 at University of East London by British Commonwealth Commission successfully organised Commonwealth Professional Fellows Alumni Reunion Day and One-day workshop on Preparing Library Leaders of Tomorrow as a Co-Coordinator at IIT Ropar on July 14 to 15.

Chandigarh, July 22, 2023: Dr. Neeraj Kumar (Deputy librarian) who has been awarded Commonwealth Professional Fellowship twice in the year 2012 and 2017 at University of East London by British Commonwealth Commission successfully organised Commonwealth Professional Fellows Alumni Reunion Day and One-day workshop on Preparing Library Leaders of Tomorrow as a Co-Coordinator at IIT Ropar on July 14 to 15.
Chief guest of the event was Prof. Rajeev Ahuja Director IIT Ropar. On 14 July commonwealth fellows had a very fruitful discussion related to the role of libraries in supporting teaching, learning and research with the director of IIT Ropar and some of the important recommendations will be send to MHRD. On 15 July fellows shared their knowledge and experiences with the LIS professionals related to the emerging trends of library science.
Dr. Neeraj Kumar has represented Panjab University not only in this meet (as a fellow) at IIT Ropar but also representing Panjab University at various national and international levels by delivering extension lectures.
