Complete all formalities for construction of Central University campus soon: Union State Finance Minister

Dharamshala: Union Minister of State for Finance and Corporate Affairs Anurag Thakur has given instructions to the departmental officials to expedite the completion of all the formalities for the construction of permanent campuses of the Central University in Dehra and Dharamshala. He directed the concerned officers to Submit the report within 14 days.

In this meeting, the Central University Administration was also asked about the details of land acquisition and DPR of the campus construction etc. and were directed to complete all the formalities at the earliest so that the students do not face any inconvenience any more.

Union State Finance Minister Anurag Thakur chaired the meeting of the district level coordination and monitoring committee held at Dharamshala on Tuesday through video conferencing from Delhi. Minister said ,``The budget for the campus construction of the central university has already been approved.”

He said that the Kovid-19 epidemic has caused the  crisis all over the world. He said that people should  not  face inconvenience due to this pandemic  and  said that for this we have to work together and work with new ideas and new thinking. He said that keeping in mind that the threat of corona is not yet postponed, it is necessary to motivate people for social distance and use of masks. He expressed satisfaction that timely and appropriate steps have been taken to control and prevent Kovid-19 epidemic in Kangra district.

Instructing the officers of the Health Department, he said that the smooth implementation of Ayushman and Him Care Scheme should be ensured and the eligible people be given detailed information about the benefits of this scheme, so that no poor person has to be deprived of treatment.

Anurag Thakur instructed the Health Department, “Work by  setting targets in the treatment of various diseases, so that time-bound results can be achieved in the field of TB, AIDS, de-addiction, etc.” He also directed the officials of Public Works Department, Water Power Department to take special care of quality in construction works and said that quick diagnosis of problems of common people should be ensured.

MP of Kangra Kishan Kapoor, MLAs Vishal Naihari, MLA Arun Kuka and  Hoshiar Singh and Rakesh prajapati D C Kangra and officials of various departments were also present on the occasion.
