Comprehensive site visit by CA GLADA Harpreet Singh

Ludhiana, September 23, 2024: Harpreet Singh, CA GLADA, on Monday, conducted a thorough site visit to assess key projects and upcoming auction sites under GLADA, focusing on enhancing urban development through essential infrastructure initiatives.

He visited Railway Over Bridge (ROB) on Ludhiana-Dhuri Railway Line and inspected the ongoing construction of the approaches, including the box culvert for the ROB, a critical element of the Missing Link project. This project was awarded on December 14, 2023, with an estimated cost of ₹24.05 Crore and is scheduled for completion by December 2024. The CA reaffirmed the commitment to finish the project on time.

Harpreet Singh also visited Community Center, Dugri and during the visit, the CA was briefed on the Community Center's features, which include a hall with a capacity for approximately 150 persons and swimming pools. The Divisional Engineer of Public Health reported that the tender for the Community Center is currently undergoing technical evaluation. Once finalized, it will be submitted to the Technical Approval Committee for allotment. Additionally, CA GLADA assessed various sites in the Dugri Urban Estate and visited several other locations earmarked for upcoming auctions, strategizing the auction process for these sites.

The site visits were accompanied by Ankur Mohindroo, Estate Officer, GLADA, along with relevant technical staff.
