Computer Adhyapak Welfare Society (CAWS) honours students and faculty of Computer Science at CT University
Ludhiana, December 2, 2019: An award ceremony in which Computer Adhyapak Welfare Society (CAWS) honoured the students and faculty excelling in the field of Computer Science was organised at CT University. CAWS is a society that is promoting computer education in Government Schools.
95 students from the region who scored 90% above and 44 faculty with enriching experience in computer science were honoured by the chief guest for the day Swaranjit Kaur, District Education Officer (SE), Ludhiana. The other dignitaries present were CAWS President Navjot Singh, Ranjan Bhanote, General Secretary along with CTU authorities.
While addressing the students, parents and faculty, chief guest Swaranjit Kaur said, “I appreciate the associations like CTU and CAWS for promoting computer education in Government schools by organising such events. This is an encouragement for the students and teachers. Computer is the basic need of students and everyone should know at least the basics of computer knowledge for better growth opportunities in industry.”
Meanwhile, Dr Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor, CTU thanked the esteemed guests and congratulated the honoured students and faculty.
