Computer Science and IT Department of Lyallpur Khalsa College conducted Plasma-2022
Overall Champion Trophy in the name of Lyallpur Khalsa College
Jalandhar, April 10, 2022: P.G. Department of Computer Science and IT of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar conducted 21st Plasma-2022 (inter-college competition) with the objective of honing the hidden talent in the students.
More than 300 students from 14 colleges of different cities of Punjab participated in these inter-college competitions. During the competitions, students participated in 13 different events such as Tech GD, Ad-Mad Show, Hands on Keyboard, Test Your Technical Skills, Logic Whirlpool, Net Savvy, Idea Snapshots, IT Quiz, IT in Colors, Web Portal Development, Arranging, Logo Designing and Photography. The chief guest on the occasion, Mr. Rajesh Sharma, IT System Manager, Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar was welcomed by Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra and the Head of the department Prof. Sanjeev Anand.
Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra encouraged the students to make maximum use of technology and create new technologies. He also apprised the students of the importance of technology in the progress of the country. He said that the college was committed for the overall development of the students. He wished the students good performance during the competitions.
Hosts Lyallpur Khalsa College won the overall champion trophy in these competitions. Students of Khalsa College, Amritsar came second and Doaba College, Jalandhar came third. Stage on this occasion was managed by Dr. Daljit Kaur. Prof. Sandeep Bassi, Prof. Mandeep Singh Bhatia, Prof. Sandeep Singh, Prof. Manpreet Singh Lehal, Prof. Ratnakar Mann, Prof. Navneet Kaur, Prof. Jaskiran Kaur, Prof. Himanshu, Prof. Harpreet Singh, Prof. Onkar, Prof. Heena Kapoor, Prof. Ramandeep Kaur and Prof. Balwant Singh Rupal and other staff members were also present on this occasion.
