CM, Dy Cm & Majithia condole Keetu’s tragic demise

Chandigarh, October 29, 2012:  Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today mourned the untimely and sad demise of former Barnala MLA Malkit Singh Keetu, in a shootout incident at Bilaspur village of Moga district on Monday.

In a condolence message, the Chief Minister described Keetu as a disciplined soldier of the party and a votary of the downtrodden and oppressed sections of the society. He recalled the outstanding services rendered by the former Barnala MLA who tirelessly worked to strengthen the party at the grassroots level and for the welfare of the unprivileged sections of the society.

Sharing his heartfelt sympathies with the members of the bereaved family, the Chief Minister prayed to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and give courage to them to bear this irreparable loss in this hour of crisis. 

Meanwhile, The Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal today expressed shock over the untimely and tragic demise of former Barnala MLA Malkit Singh Keetu.

In a condolence message, the Deputy Chief Minister recalled the commitment of Keetu for the party and his selfless service for the unprivileged sections of the society.

Expressing his heartfelt sympathies with the members of the bereaved family, the Deputy Chief Minister prayed to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and give strength to the family bear this irreparable loss.

Besides, Revenue and Public Relations Minister of Punjab Bikram Singh Majithia, today expressed deep shock on the tragic demise of former SAD MLA from Barnala, Malkit Singh Kittu, Who was shot dead today morning.  

In a condolence message, the Minister said that the selfless services of Kittu towards SAD would be remembered always. He said that Kittu was a leader of masses and always worked for the interests of common man.  

The Minister expressed his heartfelt sympathies with the members of the bereaved family and prayed to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and give strength to the family to  bear this irreparable loss.
