A conference on various training and administrative issues of NCC was organized at NCC Group Headquarters, Jalandhar for all Commanding Officers and Administrative Officers. The conference was presided over by Group Commander Brigadier Ajay Tewari, Sena Medal.

Jalandhar, January 31, 2025: A conference on various training and administrative issues of NCC was organized at NCC Group Headquarters, Jalandhar for all Commanding Officers and Administrative Officers. The conference was presided over by Group Commander Brigadier Ajay Tewari, Sena Medal.

In the conference, topics like online recruitment of 15,000 NCC cadets, electronic transfer, dress allowance of cadets, upcoming B and C certificate examinations, proper utilization of government funds and better training of cadets etc. were discussed in depth.

Brigadier Ajay Tewari said that Commanding Officers, Administrative Officers and all concerned clerks of Hoshiarpur, Kapurthala, Phagwara and Jalandhar city were present in the conference. There are a total of 17 NCC Directorates in the country. In Republic Day Delhi 2025, 124 cadets from Punjab, Haryana, Himachal and Chandigarh Directorates secured second position across India which is a matter of pride for us. The conference also discussed the impressive contribution of NCC cadets in the Indian Armed Forces, Agniveer and social problems.

Brigadier Ajay Tewari said that many cadets have joined the Indian Army, Para Military Forces and Punjab Police. Our aim is that the cadets should fulfill their moral responsibility in the development of the nation and the upliftment of the society. He said that in the coming months, the cadets should actively participate in the national camps and further hone their skills and talents. The Indian Army and Air Force are always striving for a bright future for the youth of Punjab.
