Chandigarh, October 23, 2012: The Punjab government has placed 25 Deputy Superintendents of Police as officiating Superintendents of Police with immediate effect.

Disclosing this here today, a spokesman of the state government said that Balbir Singh, TP/53, Hargobind Singh, 17/CID, Kuldeep Kumar, 325/PR, Harpreet Singh, 767/PAP, Gurmit Singh, 731/PAP, Narinder Singh, 709/PAP, Kuljit Singh, 772/PAP, Kehar Singh, 2198/LDH, Harvinder Singh, 132/J, Naresh Kumar, 1502/RPR, Dilbagh Singh, 8/J, Jagjit Singh, 3143/LDH, Sheilendra Singh, 493/J, Gurinderjit Singh, 164/PR, Som Nath, 1136/BTI, Naginder Singh, 50/FR, Mukhwinder Singh, 494/J, Parminder Singh, 3520/TT, Anil Kumar, 1/J, Onkar Singh, 5/FR, Satnam Singh, 351/PAP, Tarsem Lal, 357/PAP, 188/BR, Gurnam Singh, 1029/PAP, Sharanjit Singh, TP/123 and Darshan Singh, 1/PR (all DSPs) have been promoted as SPs.
